NEW YORK, February 19, 2020 – Cloud9 Technologies (“Cloud9”), a leader in cloud-based communications, has appointed Jim Miller as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Jim will guide product realization and rollout, as well as assist in defining business and market strategies across the organization, including the Company’s efforts to facilitate the integration of voice data and activity into the trader workflow.
Jim brings more than 30 years of fintech experience to his new position at Cloud9, with an extensive background in delivering innovative technology to the trading floor. Prior to joining Cloud9 as Head of Product and Development in 2018, Jim was CTO and Co-founder at InterNex Capital, where he led the technology planning and build for InterNex’s asset-backed alternative lending platform. As CTO of Creditex and co-founder and CTO of trueEX, Jim spearheaded the development of the award-winning trading platforms for the derivatives markets. Earlier in his career, Jim was the Director of US Credit Derivatives Technology at Barclays.

Jim holds a Bsc in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. He also serves as a mentor to college students on business skills and startup ideas at StreetWise Partners and works as a volunteer supporting Habitat for Humanity International’s disaster and humanitarian relief work.
